Chasselas is the king of grapes here, the home where it is blessed with its finest expression. <\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>        <img src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Dezaley_walk2-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Great wines that improve with time<\/h2>\n<div>The Grand Cru wine is noted for its smoky, burnt character as well as for aromas of almonds, honey and caramel, threaded through with hints of flowers and fruits. Other than its clay-limestone soil, it owes it aromatic potential to the steep slopes as much as to the lake and supporting walls of broken silex (flint-like) stone. These amplify the effects of the sun, in D\u00e9zaley, the best possible conditions for a great wine with depth.
