Chasselas is the king of grape varieties and finds its finest expression in this terroir.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>        <img src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Dezaley_walk2-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Great wines that improve with age<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>This Grand Cru wine exhibits toasty, smoky notes, as well as aromas of almonds, honey, and caramel, with hints of flowers and fruit. In addition to its clay-limestone soil, the vineyard owes its aromatic potential both to the slope of the hillside and to the lake and the retaining walls of its terraces, which amplify the sun\u2019s effects. The unique situation of the D\u00e9zaley and Calamin wine-growing regions has been historically documented and has been enshrined in Vaud regulations since
