Inside, a bar has some 300 wines for tasting, from throughout the Lavaux vineyards area: a number of Chasselas wines, an emblematic grape from the region, elegant and powerful red wines, white specialties, dessert wines and more. They can be drunk at the bar or carried out. A hi-tech film viewing room brings to life, in eight languages, the \u201cYear of the Vigneron\u201d in Lavaux, through a spectacular film that has been honoured by three prizes at the International  Oenovid\u00e9o Festival of vine and wine. The trail goes along the Forestay stream then crosses over it, via a small bridge that links the two communes and appellations of Saint Saphorin and D\u00e9zaley.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The development of green tourism<\/strong><br \/>This invitation to pass through the vines using a trail one metre wide offered by four owners doesn\u2019t bother the vignerons \u2013 \u201cthey\u2019ve bought into the project,\u201d says Vincent Chappuis, president of the Foundation and former mayor of Rivaz. He himself is a vigneron. The wonderfully bucolic walk weaves its way along the stone walls, through a gorge, crosses over the waterfall, offering at each turn on the path a breathtaking view.
